The next morning Gab already had an early hunting start as always, I let the other four sleep, and i kept watch until Gab returned with a full belly

Raquel was content from the meal before so we were packing for our flight to Georgia.

When I woke up I could tell that Gretel had grown again, still slightly too small to fly on but could start flying none the less, I saw Randy pack his things and Deb's dragon had already taken off I would assume to hunt.
"Are we going to see you again Randy?" I asked, it was great for the three of us to be together and I wish we could stay together.

"I'm sure we will, it may be awhile and I see that Gretel is now big enough to fly, I'm sure Gabe will be able to teach her." I said listening for Gabe's massive wings to come flapping back, I did.... or so I thought, a very large grey dragon, it hovered over us for awhile deciding what it wanted to do, it then shot a fireball in our direction

Raquel: "Oh no."
Raquel dove to stop the fireball and took the full hit on his back, he wasn't going to be able to take another hit like that, I run over to him to comfort him, this is a time where I wish Gabriel was around

I gasp, not sure what to do, this other dragon was mad and it meant business. Gretel's back was only to my waist but against my better judgement she clumsily took to the sky to be the distraction, this worried me because the bigger grey one could take her out with one swipe

Things seemed to be grim until, almost in slow motion, I see Gabe come up from behind the grey dragon and aim for its neck, the other dragon didn't have time to react to the attack and fell before the might of Gabriel. I could tell that Gabe couldn't really find anything, either that or this other dragon interrupted him what ever the case Gabe began to eat the other dragon, I took a deep breath and went to check on Raquel

Well, looks like my wish came true, I have never been more grateful in my life, Raquel got up and I hugged him trying to be careful of his wounds
Raquel: "Hey, its okay, I'm alright."
Me: "I know, but had it not been for Gabriel, we would have been lunch."
Raquel: "I know, I had to try, I may have been less powerful then the other dragon but I couldn't just let him burn us."
Me: "I just don't want nothing bad to happen to you."
Raquel just nods and nuzzles me back
