All things calm

[Randy]

Raquel had final gotten his flight wings in and could fly for more then a couple hours of course that was just by himself, I didn't want to wear him out too quickly. Well today I figure today was a good day so I hop up on his back and he takes off, so much freedom on the wings of a dragon, it was great.

Raquel: "How far do you want to go?"

Me: "How far you wanting to go?"

Raquel: "I don't know, I want to be able to take you to Haven, but I can't fly that far yet."

Me: "One day you will. Maybe we should keep flying south, I want to check on my parents. I know we can't get there in one day."

Raquel: "I'll get us as far as possible, do you know how to get there from the air?"

Me: "Follow the main road as long as we can we'll be there in a few days."

Raquel: "How long is a few?"

Me: "Three or more."

Raquel: "I'll get there in two, maybe three."

Me: "Don't push yourself Raquel."

Raquel: "I want to, I know how important family is, the sooner the better."

Me: "Well if that's how you feel, Just give my Dad some space, I'm sure he's never seen a nice dragon before."

Raquel: "Oh, Okay."

I could tell that Raquel was smiling, he flew as far as he could which was to about Virginia.

[Anne Marie]

Gretel had just hatched and was still very small, small enough to fit in my arms her coos were actually adorable. We had gotten separated from a friend and headed north, I don't remember what state I'm in or which direction I was headed, I was to tired to really care and Gretel had the right idea, she was asleep in my arms , I didn't want to rest..... I was too afraid to.
Gretel wakes up suddenly and points her head in a direction, I catch her line of sight and see a young green dragon with a rider, Should I walk away or try to make friends.

[Randy]

Raquel turns his head as he picked up the scent of another dragon

Raquel: "Randy, I smell another dragon."
Me: "Enemy?"
Raquel: "No, its much to small, hasn't had a chance to grow yet, or devour a soul crystal."
Me: "So.... Friendly?"
Raquel: "I'm not sure, it all depends on the human."
Me: "You out there, if you are friend, come out."

We wait for a response.

[Anne Marie]

I gasp, but Gretel jumps out of my arms and hops to the other dragon, I catch up but by the time I could we were already in view of the green dragon, I was actually surprised to see that it was Randy with a dragon

"Randy?!, what are you doing here?" I asked picking Gretel back up

[Randy]

Me: "Anne?! I'm trying to head south with Raquel, what are you doing?"
Raquel: "Hi."

The little dragon she had was cute, it fit her being dark in color and all. Anyway I was just as shocked as she was I'm sure

[Anne Marie]

"I got separated from Deb and I have no clue where I'm going right now." I said feeling relieved that I ran into someone else that I actually know.
"Anyway, this is Gretel, she hatched not that long ago." I added giving Gretel a quick pat on the head

[Randy]

Me: "I would guess you made it all the way to Virginia, since that's where we are. Where is Deb anyhow?"

I hoped the answer wouldn't be so bad

[Anne Marie]

"Wow, we traveled far..... I don't know about Deb, a huge greyish dragon attacked, she told me to run and don't look back. I don't even know the first thing about caring for a dragon...... Hey mind if we travel with you, I know your dragon wont be able to carry us but I'd feel safer with you." I said hoping to get a good answer.

[Randy]

Me: "I trust Deb, she knows what she's doing."
Raquel: "I can help with the dragon part, after all I am one."
Me: "I don't mind you coming along, I'll walk for awhile, I should be used to that. We camping down for the night probably do the same."
Raquel: "If you don't mind Anne, I'd like to take Gretel with me to hunt, we don't have to fly and it would be good for us both."
Me: "You are still just a kid yourself, Raquel."
Raquel: "I know, but we dragons grow fast, I mean look how fast Gabriel grew up."
Me: "You have a point and I guess you dragons grow faster when someone sings to you, unfortunately I'm not much of a singer."
Raquel: "You could always hum you know."

I just shake my head and unpack the supplies that I had attached to Raquel so that I could camp out.

[Anne Marie]

"Sing?..... I never knew that..... If you can be sure that you can take real good care of Gretel when your out, then fine just bring her back in one piece, I've already grown attached to her." I said letting Gretel down, she runs up to Raquel almost eager to hunt, I then help Randy set up camp, I'm not much on survival so what ever pointers I could get I'll take them.

[Randy]

Me: "According to Deb, its a lost art, according to the dragon that told her. If you wouldn't mind gathering some wood so we can make a fire? just the branches from the ground will do, and what ever you can fit in your arms, don't overdo yourself."

I could tell Anne didn't have much camping experience so I figured that this would be a simple enough task if she wanted to do it, I then started clearing an area for the fire.

[Anne Marie]

"Oh... Okay... Yeah, I'll go get some firewood." I then go off and start collecting small twigs and branches.

[Randy]

Me: "Just be careful out there."

I could hear the childish laughter of Raquel in the distance so I knew that they were coming back.

[Anne Marie]

I was already slightly to far, I didn't even hear Randy's dragon, aside from collecting branches and such I was also thinking of a song that I could sing, I wasn't much of a singer but I could probably hum a tune, couldn't hurt to try. I gathered as much as I could carry, I was heading back but then a noise caught my attention.

[Randy]

Raquel had returned with Gretel but I was getting worried because Anne wasn't back yet I'd also figure that Gretel would like to see her rider again too.

Me: "Hey, Gretel, can you help us find your rider?"
